As a long-term fan of replica watches, I have always had high expectations for the workmanship of the VS factory. I recently bought their Omega Seamaster 600m “Quarter Orange” replica. After wearing it for two weeks, I couldn’t help but want to share my real experience with you – not only did it almost fool my friends in terms of appearance, but I was also pleasantly surprised by its details and movement performance.

1. First impression after using it: the size is just right and the polishing is very careful.
My wrist is on the thin side (about 17cm), and I was worried that the 43.5mm watch diameter would look too big. But after actually wearing it, I found that the VS factory has controlled the length and thickness from lug to lug very well, and it fits the wrist without any “sloshing feeling”. The watch case is made of 316L fine steel, and the brushed and mirror surfaces are alternately polished very delicately – when exposed to daily light, the bright surface reflects cleanly, while the brushed area is low-key and durable, completely unlike workmanship priced at a thousand yuan price.

2. What impressed me the most was the “quarter orange” bezel
To be honest, I originally placed the order because of this color scheme. The orange rubber is inlaid from 12 o’clock to 3 o’clock, and the rest is black ceramic. The VS factory has restored it almost exactly the same as the original: the orange has high saturation, no color difference, the rubber material is soft but not loose, and the edges and ceramics are perfectly connected. Paired with a sapphire mirror (with double-sided anti-glare coating), the dial looks as transparent as if it were no glass under sunlight, and there is no interference when reading.

One day a friend asked me: “Is your watch a new model from Omega?” – I smiled inwardly and didn’t say anything.
3. Black plate + orange characters, luminous light also makes me feel at ease
I particularly care about the coordination of the board. This deep black dial is pure and has no color cast, and the orange Arabic numerals at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock echo the bezel just right. The hands and hour markers are coated with long-lasting luminous light. After turning off the lights at night, the brightness is even and the time can be seen clearly at a glance. The little orange at the end of the second hand is the finishing touch, and those who are detail-oriented will really fall in love with it.

4. Movement performance: 8900 all-in-one machine is so stable that I feel reassured
As someone who often wears a watch when going out, I am most afraid of inaccurate time. The self-developed 8900 integrated movement equipped by VS Factory really did not disappoint me this time. After wearing it continuously for a week, the daily difference is basically within ±5 seconds. The winding feels smooth and there is no noise. What makes me even more satisfied is that it is so transparent! The automatic rotor is polished into red gold, the splint has Geneva pattern, and the balance wheel position is consistent with the original. Every time I raise my hand to check the time and watch the movement of the movement, my mood gets better.

5. Is it worth buying? My answer is: very worthwhile
The authentic Haima 600-meter “Quarter Orange” sells for nearly 100,000, while the VS factory replica is less than one-tenth of that. But the experience it gave me far exceeded the price expectations: the material is solid, the color is unique, the movement is stable, and it is comfortable to wear. If you are like me and want a recognizable diving watch that can be used for daily commuting and occasional diving, but don’t want to spend tens of thousands, then it is definitely one of the few cost-effective options on the market.
