Look at the mirror surface again – VS factory uses a bubble mirror without blue film. The R-angle curvature is more natural than that of C factory, and the transparency is high. When looking at the disk, there is no sense of depression “through glass”.
3. Disk and hands: bright luminous, solid workmanship
The scale on the dial of my VS factory “preserved egg ring” is finely chamfered, and the edges are sharp but not eye-catching. The gray-blue color of the GMT pointer is very positive, unlike some versions that are too purple or green. The luminous filling is made of ice blue Super-LumiNova, which is uniform and full. The brightness lasts long after the lights are turned off at night, so you can see the time clearly at a glance. The only small flaw is that the small white spot on the center axis is slightly smaller, but to be honest, you can’t notice it at all when wearing it in daily wear. You can only see it when it is placed side by side with the original.
4. Case and strap: Comfortable to wear, no details neglected
The 40mm diameter is just right for me. VS Factory uses 316L stainless steel to build the watch case. The brushed and polished areas are clearly defined, and the corners are delicately chamfered. The wrist will not be scratched after being worn for a whole day. The crown screws in smoothly and has a strong sealing feeling. The strap is a key plus – the links are polished to perfection, the buckle is a 1:1 replica of the original, and even the “Rolex” engraving inside is clear and sharp. The extended safety buckle requires a little force to press back, but it feels solid and not loose at all. In comparison, although the clasp of Factory C is similar, the pressing feedback is soft and the texture is slightly inferior.
5. The movement is the king: Dandong 3285 all-in-one machine, the operating logic is fully aligned
What reassures me the most is the Dandong 3285 integrated movement exclusively equipped by VS Factory. This movement is currently only used by the VS factory on the market. It has a complete structure and real linkage of gears. It is not a fake movement that “just needs the balance wheel to move”. I have tried adjusting the time several times, and the operating feel and logic are almost the same as my friend’s genuine product. 6. Is there room for improvement? Yes, but the flaws do not hide the advantages
VS factory is not perfect. For example, the edge of the bubble mirror has not yet made the extremely subtle concave curvature of the original version (you need a magnifying glass to see it), and the drawing on the inside of the lugs is also slightly simple. But considering that this is a mass-produced watch, and the VS factory is currently full of orders and it is difficult to find a watch, it is very rare to achieve such a level in mass production.
Finally, tell the truth: If you now want to buy a replica preserved egg ring with high restoration, strong performance, daily wear, and occasional “bluffing”, the new model from VS factory is definitely the safest choice in 2025.
