Especially the blue dial has such a deep and transparent luster under natural light that even my friend almost thought it was original.
I also used a magnifying glass to look at the calendar window. The font is not a dazzling pure white, but has a warm yellow tone, which is exactly the same as the original. Even more amazing are the hands – the ends of the minute hand and hour hand. VS is made very narrow. Only those who have compared the original or high-definition pictures will understand how critical this detail is. Many replicas “overturned” here, and when the pointer widened, the secret was immediately exposed.
In terms of size, I used a vernier caliper to measure it: the diameter of the watch is 41mm and the thickness is 10.3mm, which is exactly the same as the original. The movement part surprises me the most. Dandong 4302 all-in-one machine, the color difference of the pendulum is almost invisible. Here’s the key point: it uses matching ceramic ball bearings! Winding is smooth and quiet, unlike some movements that make a lot of noise. After wearing it for three consecutive days, the travel time error is controlled within +3 seconds, and the power reserve is also stable, which is completely sufficient for daily commuting.
To be honest, except for the slight difference in dial material due to cost constraints, VS is almost “real with your eyes closed” in other details. If you are like me, you want a high degree of restoration but don’t want to worry about repairs every day. This 15500 is definitely the most worthy replica of the King of Steel in 2026.
